and didn't McKinnon get voted out recently? shit bothers me...
She lost to Denise Majette a few years ago but came back to recapture the post with a land slide election. Now that it is nearing a new election there are a couple of candidates that have stood to challenge her. The primaries happened a couple of weeks ago and she must face two opponents in a run-off to get the Democratic nomination again. I no longer live in her district so I can't vote for her either way. But I am confident that Cynthia will once again be triumphant!

i don't believe it was her intention to separate the body from the soul either but the way in which the song is presented fits well within the christian/western splitting of things in two halves...
